Morning before exposure: 1000 mg of vitamin C (and same amount 3 days after). Last meal shouldn’t be later than 2-3 hours before. Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), 25-50 mg, is to be taken 2 hours before mephedrone. 1000 mg of magnesium citrate 1-2 hours before, 500 mg with first dose of mephedrone and 1000 mg with the last one if it was more than one.
Extra water intake should start 1 hour before session and continue until it’s over, especially in case of physical activity. Still mineral water with neutral pH is ideal. Water intoxication is usually associated with 5-10 liters taken in few hours or less; good rule is to limit at 0.8-1 liter / hour. 1 hour before: 40 mg of omeprazole or any available antacide in amount stated on medication package insert. 1 hour before: l-carnitine 1000 mg; α-lipoic acid 250 mg (and same amount after session is over).
Common dose of mephedrone is 50-80 mg, strong is 80-130 mg, and duration is about 3-6 hours. Short- and long-term side effects are much more likely to happen if dosage is exceeded.
Mephedrone should not be taken with alcohol. Physical and psychological stress should be avoided. People and surroundings should be familiar and safe.
In case of a psychological adverse reaction benzodiazepines are useful: ~2.5-10 mg of diazepam (Valium) / ~0.25-1 mg of alprazolam (Xanax) / equipotent (equivalent therapeutic) dose of other benzodiazepines. Should let some fresh air into a room, lie down and relax and remember to drink water. Should not take any other psychoactive drugs. More mephedrone is an absolutely bad idea! If a heart rate is above 120 a minute after lying down for some time, benzos dosage should be about 20 mg of diazepam / 2 mg of alprazolam. Beta-blockers (e.g. propranolol 20 mg, better to hold a tablet under the tongue until dissolved), moxonidine 0.3 mg or analogues.
Side effects may be present for up to 2 weeks, but usually much shorter. Benzodiazepines help to relax after mephedrone effect is over. And in case of insomnia, as well as melatonin. 5-HTP 100 mg, 30 minutes before sleep for the next 14 days. Magnesium + potassium supplements for the next 14 days. Supplements with vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12, C, calcium and zink for the next 30 days. As well as healthy food, good sleep, fresh air and less stress for some time.
